The Basic Pistol Class is for those who want to get their Concealed Carry Permit and for those who want a refresher course on the basics of handgun safety, marksmanship techniques and concealed carry laws in Virginia. Students will need to bring their pistol and 20 rounds of ammo. Class will begin at 9am and end at approx. 2pm. Classes are held at Pathfinders. Bring unloaded Pistols into the classroom. AMMO must be left in the car. We will need 5 students to hold this class.
This class teaches you how to assemble and dissemble your firearm, function the firearm, zero, shoot, and maintain your AR platform rifle. It is a 5 hour course that requires 60 rounds of ammo. We will culminate the class with a Army 25 meter Alternate Qualification Course to confirm zero at 25 meters and 300 meters. You must have completed the Pathfinders Basic Pistol Class to take this class. Contact Pathfinders for more Information. Minimum requirements: Complete the Basic Pistol Class, have a pistol and 100 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection. This is an 8 hour NRA class.
You must have completed the Pathfinders Basic Pistol Class and the Personal Protection in the Home Class to take this Class. You will need a pistol, a concealed carry garment, eye and ear protection, and 200 rounds of ammunition Contact Pathfinders for more Information.
This class will include basic information about the AR-15, assembly and disassembly, safety, zeroing, and range operations. You will need an AR type platform, eye and ear protection, and 60 rounds of ammunition.
This class is for personnel who will be a safety officer on a range or range complex. This is an 8 hour class. Minimum of 5 participants is required. Contact Pathfinders for More Information.
